Lindsay Lohan Prepares To Leave Rehab, Tweets Message Of Hope
We can hardly believe it: Lindsay Lohan is just a day away from freedom! She's been undergoing rehab treatment at the Betty Ford Center since October, and will be able to leave the facility (hopefully for good) tomorrow.
It looks like the troubled starlet is already getting back into the swing of things, and even resurfaced on Twitter yesterday to write a motivational blurb about the future -- with a little help from Ghandi. She wrote: " "Today is the first day of the rest of my life. 'The future depends on what we do in the present.' Lindsay+Lohan in Lindsay Lohan Shops in Palm Springs-Mahatma Gandhi… One step at a time…"
Word has it LiLo will go into hiding once she's free from rehab, then will resurface in public when the time is right. Best of luck, Lindsay!

Kate Winslet Has a New Man
Kate Winslet is apparently dating someone new! She and Burberry model Louis Dowler called it quits a few months ago, and sources say the actress and a mystery man enjoyed a 3-hour lunch in London recently.
An onlooker told The Mail on Sunday newspaper: "Kate enjoyed oysters and a chocolate fondant dessert - she was eating the food of love. She looked very content. They were chatting for hours. She was in fits of giggles at one stage and then later they looked very serious together. It seemed they were having an in-depth discussion and she clasped his hands over the table. When Kate finally paid the bill, it was getting dark."
When the pair - who have known each other for years - finally left, they asked waiters to arrange for them to leave separately as they didn't want anyone to see them together.
The 'Titanic' star split from Louis in November saying she wanted some time alone following the breakdown of her marriage to director Sam Mendes in March.
A source close to Kate - who has a seven-year-old son, Joe, with Sam, as well as a 10-year-old daughter, Mia, from her first marriage to Jim Threapleton - said of the split: "Louis was just the tonic Kate needed after her painful split from Sam and they had a wonderful time. However, the relationship isn't working and Kate needs space to be on her own. She is very grateful to Louis for helping her pick her life back up after her marriage ended and they had a lot of fun together, but she felt it had come to an end and wants to concentrate on her career and children."

Michael Lohan Worried Lindsay Will Relapse If He And Her Mom Don't Start Getting Along
Michael Lohan is keen for his troubled daughter to stay sober when she leaves her court-ordered stint at the Betty Ford Clinic next week. He's spoken with Lindsay's advisors to help persuade his ex-wife Dina to agree to meet with him so they can put their problems behind them.
He said: "I am getting in touch with Lindsay's team, including Tom Hansen, Blair Berk, Lou Taylor and Shawn Chapman Holley, in the hope of trying, again, to have them persuade Dina to sit down so we both can iron out our differences.
"Quite frankly, everyone knows this, including all the counselors and therapists. Dina and I need to get along and put our differences aside if Lindsay is going to have any chance at a full recovery without relapse."
Michael has urged Dina -- who has repeatedly accused him of failing to pay child support for their youngest kids, Ali, 17, and 14-year-old Cody -- to forget about their previous problems and put their family first by staying civil to one another.
He added to RadarOnline.com: "Everyone has been asking Dina to sort out her issues with me, but the general consensus is that she simply can't admit or take responsibility and she is afraid to do so.
"But that isn't even part of it, she doesn't have to admit anything. All she has to do is keep Lindsay and the kids out of our differences and try to get along for their sake.
"She can make all the claims she likes about child support -- the truth of which is that every cent owed has been paid and even more -- but there is a much deeper and important issue here: Lindsay's health is first and foremost. Our kids are first and we should be second."

Who Was Kim Kardashian's New Year's Eve Date?
Kim Kardashian spent her New Year's Eve at TAO in Las Vegas, and she partied the night away in a bedazzling with dress with her hot date -- her brother Rob! Yep, she brought her baby bro, not her rumored beau Kris Humphries (that we know of), to the swanky club to ring in 2011.
"Who's excited for the new year? Let's leave the past behind us and move forward! Do better and push yourself in 2011!" she wrote on her Twitter page before the festivities got underway.
Later in the evening, she posted a pic of herself and her "New Year's date," brother Rob, and then added another pic of herself sitting next to BFF Brittny Gastineau.

Reese Witherspoon Engaged To Hollywood Agent Jim Toth
The Oscar-winning actress announced plans to wed Hollywood agent Jim Toth, less than a year after her split from hunky leading guy Jake Gyllenhaal.
"They are extremely happy," Witherspoon's representative told Us Magazine.
The 34-year-old "Legally Blonde" actress began dating Toth, 40, last January, shortly after her split from Gyllenhaal.
The duo went public with their romance in March during a romantic birthday weekend in Ojai, Calif.
"She is definitely happy, in love and definitely wants to settle down," a pal told the magazine of her engagment to Toth.
Toth works as an agent at L.A.'s Creative Artists Agency, but doesn't represent Witherspoon.
This will be the second marriage for Witherspoon, who won a best actress academy award for her role as June Carter Cash in "Walk The Line."
She and hunky actor Ryan Phillippe were married for seven years before divorcing in 2008.
They have two daughters: Ava, 11, and Deacon, 7.
Insiders told Us that Toth has "bonded" with Witherspoon's kids.
He even looked after them in Los Angeles last fall while Witherspoon shot her new flick "This Means War" in Vancouver.
"Ava and Deacon are happy with him," the source added.
Witherspoon has been the subject of plenty of wedding rumors recently.
She joked about engagement chatter to Entertainment Weekly, saying "My mom always texts me, like, 'Are you getting married?'" Witherspoon said. "I'm like, 'Mom, come on! You would know if I was getting married,'" she said.

Lindsay Lohan To Leave Rehab In A Few Days
Lindsay Lohan is set next week to leave the Betty Ford Center, where she has been undergoing court-mandated rehab stemming from a 2007 drunken driving and drug possession case.
Lindsay Lohan's mug shot from Sept. 24, 2010, after she was ordered back to jail for violating the terms of her probation again. She had Tweeted a week earlier that she had failed a court-mandated drug test.
In October, a judge ruled the 24-year-old actress, who has been sent to jail several times for the conviction and for violating the terms of her probation, must undergo treatment until Jan. 3, 2011. Her father, Michael, says Lohan will leave the treatment facility on Tuesday, a day later, and move into a new home in Los Angeles, CNN reported.
Lohan's next court date is on Feb. 25, 2011. If a judge rules she has stayed clean and sober, her supervised probation could end. If not, she could be sent to jail for another stint - this time, lasting up to 180 days.
Lohan has completed a total of three stints behind bars - the first lasting 84 minutes, the second, 14 days. In September, she spent 15 hours in jail after she failed a drug test and wrote about it on her Twitter page. She entered a rehabilitation center days later.
Lohan has undergone also treatment in rehab centers several times, including for unrelated incidents. Her most recent stint began in late September.
Lohan, known for her roles in "Freaky Friday" and "Mean Girls, pleaded guilty in 2007 to being under the influence of cocaine and no contest to driving with a blood-alcohol level above 0.08 percent and reckless driving.
She was recently dropped from a movie role following her turmoil. She was set to play Linda Lovelace, who shot to fame with the 1972 film "Deep Throat," in a new movie about her life, called "Inferno." Director Matthew Wilder says the film is moving on without Lohan.
Earlier this month, a Betty Ford Center technician accused Lindsay Lohan of attacking her after allegedly refusing take a breathalyzer test. A criminal battery investigation was opened and the actress was named as a suspect, although no arrests were made.
The technician was later fired after speaking to the press and retracted her comments, saying the actress never committed a crime and that the complaint would be dropped.
