Edwards' Funeral To Take Place Amid Possible Protests

As mourners gather to commemorate the life of Elizabeth Edwards on Saturday afternoon, picketers from a Kansas-based church -- along with counter-protesters -- could change the mood outside the funeral.

Edwards, the estranged wife of former Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards, died Tuesday after a lengthy battle with breast cancer. She was 61.

Representatives for the Edwards family confirmed that the service will be held at the Edenton Street United Methodist Church in Raleigh, where the Edwards family worships. The 1 p.m. funeral, which will be open to the public, will include eulogies from daughter Cate Edwards and longtime friends Hargrave McElroy and Glenn Bergenfield.

Edwards will then be buried at Raleigh's Historic Oakwood Cemetery, according to office manager Sharon Freed. Earlier this week, Freed told CNN about the proximity of the burial to Edwards' son Wade, who was buried at the cemetery after dying in a 1996 car crash.

"He is already interred there in a space. And she will be interred there beside him," Freed said.

Angelina Jolie Is Always Open To Having More Kids

"Larry King Live," Jolie, 35, said she has "no plans at the moment," to add a seventh child to her big brood with Pitt, 46. "But we're always open [to the idea]," she admitted.

"The Tourist" actress explained how she and Pitt keep their kids' fears in check when they're swarmed by photographers.

Jolie credit the ability for she and Pitt to split work and parenting duties to their happy partnership. "We never work at the same time. We never separate the family," Jolie said to King. "When I was shooting The Tourist for example, [Pitt] was home with the kids, and helping them with school, and bringing them to visit set," she says.

Still, Jolie knows that she is in a unique position. "My schedule is not as demanding as many, many mothers across the world who have two or three jobs and no help."

Kim Kardashian And Gabriel Aubry Call It Quits

That was fast. After just a few weeks of nurturing their romance, Kim Kardashian and Gabriel Aubry have called it quits, according to reports.

So what happened? Well, take your pick. This is where things get a little muddled.

According to E! Online, the burgeoning romance came to a screeching halt because Aubry’s ex Halle Berry did not approve of his new hook-up, and she made her feelings known. Well really!

“It was just too much to handle for Kim,” the source tells E!. “She [Kardashian] realised very quickly they were better off as friends.”

While over at Usmagazine.com, they quote a source as saying the romance “was moving too fast,” and they realised they’d be “better off as friends.”

Life & Style gets top marks though for ‘exclusively’ revealing that the romance hit the skids because…“Kim feels like Gabriel was just using her for her fame.”

Plus, at the ripe old age of 34, Gabriel “is older than Kim is looking for.” Kardashian is 30.

But while the tabs have their different takes on why the romance died, they all agree that Kardashian has already moved on.

Word is she’s set her sights on New Jersey Nets player Kris Humphries.

Angelina Jolie Took Manners Classes For 'Tourist'

Angelina Jolie plays a refined British woman named Elise Ward in her new flick The Tourist, and to prepare for the role Angie says she took "manners classes!" She says she just wanted to learn how to slow down and have more poise -- it's not like she's a big slob or anything.

She said: "I'm not completely clumsy or gross, but the character takes her time with everything. I'm an American! I do 10 things before breakfast."

Angelina also spoke of her hopes for the futures of her children - Maddox, 9, Pax, 7, Zahara, 5, Shiloh, 4, and 2-year-old Knox and Vivienne – and how she wants them to look back on their childhoods.

Speaking on The Today Show, she said: "Hopefully they are happy, and they know that they were loved, and that they were encouraged to be who they are, and not pushed into something that they're not. Hopefully they'll be the strong, beautiful individuals that they are today, and be happy in their lives, be fulfilled in their lives, and be living their lives honestly.”

The 35-year-old beauty admitted she can’t understand why so many people are fascinated by her but is hopeful interest in her will fade as she gets older. She said: "I don't find myself that interesting in that way. But I feel like it happens to everybody.

It's just that it's a weird time right now. There's just so much of all of that, for everybody. It's just, it's a new world. I just assume the older I get, the more it'll go away. The more private I'll become."

Carrie Underwood Sweeps American Country Awards 2010

Carrie Underwood took home Artist of the Year and five other categories during last night’s new American Country Awards on Fox. Unlike the ACM and CMA awards shows, this one is voted on by the public.

And Underwood fans sure know how to vote! Her other victories: Female Artist of the Year, Album of the Year for Play On, Single by a Female artist for “Cowboy Casanova”, Video by a Female Artist for “Cowboy Casanova” and Touring Artist of the Year.

“We have had the most amazing year out on the road,” Underwood said in her acceptance speech.

“Of course, we wouldn’t be doing anything if it weren’t for the people sitting out there in that audience, so to everyone that came out to see us and anybody else out here — you guys are awesome.”

Do we really need a fourth major country music award, on top of the American Music Awards and the Grammys? Not really. We’ll see how the ratings did last night and that will tell us if Fox will try this again.

Eva Longoria Appeared 'defeated' On A Recent Night Out Wth Friends

The 'Desperate Housewives' actress Eva Longoria who is in the process of divorcing husband Tony Parker  appeared 'defeated' on a recent night out with friends.

Eva Longoria was surrounded by dozens of pals at Hollywood's Chateau Marmont on Saturday, and though she put on a brave face, she couldn't hide her sadness.

'She wasn't her feisty little self. If I could describe her energy in one word, I would say 'defeated,' One onlooker said.

'Eva was smiling and even laughing at times, but it was so apparent that underneath it all she was sad and hurt. It was very obvious. 'She had a grin on her face, but every so often she would stare off into space and looked very sad and sombre.'

Despite her sadness, Eva and Tony - who married in July 2007 - are attempting to keep their divorce civil and were even spotted having lunch together last week, with pals saying they met to 'work out the details' of their split.

It was recently claimed that the 35-year-old star's close pal Victoria Beckham had urged all their friends to rally round and support the actress through her heartbreak.

A source said: 'Victoria has rounded all the girl troops in their inner clique so they can have some girly time and relax. She has given her some sexy VB dresses to cheer her up and is planning a night out for Eva with all their celeb friends.' - Bang Showbiz

Katy Perry Has Been Getting Styling Tips From Russell Brand

Russell Brand the comic actor who married the ‘Firework’ hitmaker in India in October encourages his wife to show off her curvy figure and is particularly keen on helping select her stage outfits.

A source told: "Russell is very hands-on with all Katy's dresses and loves giving his opinions. "He always tells her to show off what God has given her.

"Russell now really gets involved with what Katy wears. He gets a buzz helping with those decisions." Russell, 35, has previously admitted that he and Katy, 26, have an influence on one another’s wardrobes.

He said: "I would like to endorse that idea. I think I've started to wear more colours and she's started to go darker. She's started to dress less like a pantomime character and is a bit more sexy a bit grown up."

Though the ‘Get Him to the Greek’ star loves styling his wife, he has previously claimed he never finds shopping for himself very fulfilling.

He said: "My look is a collision between bondage, 70s rock 'n' roll and a gentleman at the Henley Regatta. I don't go shopping much because I find it hard to commit to an object. Will I ever wear these? Then I question the value of consuming, trying to make yourself feel better just by buying a pair of shoes. I think, 'Will I feel better after I've bought these shoes? Or will I just be me...in some shoes.' "

Sarah Jessica Parker Is Much Worried The Moment Away From Her Kids

The 45-year-old actress Sarah Jessica Parker never thought of being away from her children. She can not be away from her children.

Sarah Jessica Parker who has son James Wilkie, eight, and 17-month-old twin daughters Loretta and Tabitha with husband Matthew Broderick is working on new movie 'I Don't Know How She Does It' and in her role as President and Chief Creative Officer of fashion label Halston and she admits she is dreading how much time she will have to take out of family life.

She said: "Even now I think about the separation and it makes my stomach hurt. I think about my son waking up on his birthday without me there, and I could die." The twins were born to a surrogate mother and Sarah Jessica admits she was left stunned the first time she met the babies.

She recalled to the January edition of Elle magazine: "Everything was suspended. I can't even tell you what other sounds were in the room. I loved them immediately, but everything - their size, the shape of their heads, the color of their hair, their noses, their eyes - was new to me. They looked surprisingly different from James Wilkie, which I wasn't expecting."

Although the actress worries about getting older, she is resigned to the fact there is little she can do to halt the ageing process without looking unnatural.

She said: I don't know what I can do about the aging. "Yes, I am aging. Oh my God, I'm aging all the time. It's like those flowers that wilt in front of you in time-lapse films. But what can I possibly do? Look like a lunatic?"

First Indian Who Won The Miss Earth '10 Title

India's Nicole Faria the 20-year-old from Bangalore who became the first Indian woman has been crowned Miss Earth Talent 2010 after beating 17 other contestants at a talent competition in Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam.

She won the title at the talent show with a scintillating belly dance that combines Oriental and Middle Eastern styles.

Faria's success has come as no surprise to her family who are well acquainted with her winning ways and her belief in the adage "I know I can".

"We knew she would win. We were hardly surprised," says George Pearson, Nicole's uncle, whose prediction that she would win came true last night when she clinched the Miss Earth title in a glitzy ceremony in Vietnam.

It all happened succeddfully because of her parents, father Ian Faria, a motivational speaker and corporate trainer and mother Anita, who works with the reputed beauty group VLCC.

"She owes a large part of her success to her father, who has always motivated her to win. It was he who taught her how to talk, how to walk. He groomed her to be a winner," said George adding that Nicole's motivational lessons began when she was young and so did the grooming.

A student of Christ College and Mount Carmel College, she had full family support when she decided to take up modelling as a 16-year-old. A Prasad Bidapa protege, she has walked the ramp since 2005 and been on the pages of fashion magazines like Elle, Cosmopolitan and Vogue.

Her winning moment came when she clinched the Miss India Earth title at the Miss India 2010 beauty pageant in Mumbai.

Born to a Goan father and Punjabi mother, music and dancing has always been in her genes and it was belly dancing that helped Nicole clinch the Miss Earth title.

"Shakira has alway been her idol. She mimicked her all the time, crooned like Shakira and danced like her," said her cousin Neha.

"At all birthday celebrations, parties, Nicole, a natural performer, always vowed her family with her belly dancing and her mimicry," she added.

The family has been trying to get in touch with her since the win but has not been able to do so.

Why Johnny Depp Won’t Get Married

Johnny Depp did not get married to his girlfriend Vanessa Paradis despite the couple have been in a steady relationship for over a decade. He had his string of high profile romances before settling down with long-time love Vanessa Paradis, with whom he has 2 children.

Jhon spoke about it and said: “Marriage is really from soul to soul, heart to heart. You don’t need somebody to say, okay you’re married.

“If Vanessa wanted to get hitched, why not? But the thing is, I’d be so scared of ruining her last name. She’s got such a good last name.”

So it may be that they have a pretty good thing going just the way they are and with the rash of celebrity divorces that have been happening lately maybe they have the right idea!

Katy Perry Supreme As 'Divas' Salutes Troops

The pop superstar Katy Perry loves a man in a uniform. At time of working on the special "VH1 Divas Salute the Troops" this weekend near San Diego she met dozens of service members

"There was a kid who I met backstage who was rather chatty, but adorable," Perry recalled. "He was really sweet. He was 19. He had such a good heart. He said, 'Yes, ma'am' to me. 'Yes ma'am!' I was like, 'O.K.! Yes, sir!'"

A VH1 publicist estimated an audience of 27,000 attended the nearly three-hour taping of the concert Friday night at the Marine Corps Air Station in Miramar. The show, which airs Sunday night, features a bounty of what the network has dubbed "divas" - female or female-lead musical acts, including established stars such as Heart, Paramore and Sugarland, as well as hot newcomers Grace Potter and The Nocturnals, Keri Hilson and Nicki Minaj.

But if one diva emerged supreme, it was Perry, who both opened and closed the show, and performed solo or with others on a half-dozen songs -- twice that of anyone else in the lineup.

"I really had to live up to the definition of a 'diva' in all senses of the word," Perry joked. "So, I had to be very difficult today, and late," she continued, adding that she was really neither.

Perry went on to reference Beyonce's song "Diva," then proceeded to lose the lyric. "Blaaah! Obviously I'm not Beyonce," Perry laughed. "She is the true diva."

Onstage, Perry pulled out the stops - and the costumes - with the opening number featuring Perry, Hilson and Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles in WAC uniforms for a cover of The Andrews Sisters' '40s classic "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy."

Perry closed the show with her current smash "Firework," which concluded, appropriately, with a fireworks display. For that finale, Perry wore a cherry-red beaded gown with thigh-high slit that looked as if it was borrowed from Jessica Rabbit's closet. "You know me, I love vintage," Perry explained. "I love pinup girls. So, I tried to recreate that. I think any Army guy has a soft spot for a girl that can be painted on their plane."
