Russell Brand the comic actor who married the ‘Firework’ hitmaker in India in October encourages his wife to show off her curvy figure and is particularly keen on helping select her stage outfits.
A source told: "Russell is very hands-on with all Katy's dresses and loves giving his opinions. "He always tells her to show off what God has given her.
"Russell now really gets involved with what Katy wears. He gets a buzz helping with those decisions." Russell, 35, has previously admitted that he and Katy, 26, have an influence on one another’s wardrobes.
He said: "I would like to endorse that idea. I think I've started to wear more colours and she's started to go darker. She's started to dress less like a pantomime character and is a bit more sexy a bit grown up."
Though the ‘Get Him to the Greek’ star loves styling his wife, he has previously claimed he never finds shopping for himself very fulfilling.
He said: "My look is a collision between bondage, 70s rock 'n' roll and a gentleman at the Henley Regatta. I don't go shopping much because I find it hard to commit to an object. Will I ever wear these? Then I question the value of consuming, trying to make yourself feel better just by buying a pair of shoes. I think, 'Will I feel better after I've bought these shoes? Or will I just be me...in some shoes.' "

Katy Perry Supreme As 'Divas' Salutes Troops

"There was a kid who I met backstage who was rather chatty, but adorable," Perry recalled. "He was really sweet. He was 19. He had such a good heart. He said, 'Yes, ma'am' to me. 'Yes ma'am!' I was like, 'O.K.! Yes, sir!'"
A VH1 publicist estimated an audience of 27,000 attended the nearly three-hour taping of the concert Friday night at the Marine Corps Air Station in Miramar. The show, which airs Sunday night, features a bounty of what the network has dubbed "divas" - female or female-lead musical acts, including established stars such as Heart, Paramore and Sugarland, as well as hot newcomers Grace Potter and The Nocturnals, Keri Hilson and Nicki Minaj.

"I really had to live up to the definition of a 'diva' in all senses of the word," Perry joked. "So, I had to be very difficult today, and late," she continued, adding that she was really neither.
Perry went on to reference Beyonce's song "Diva," then proceeded to lose the lyric. "Blaaah! Obviously I'm not Beyonce," Perry laughed. "She is the true diva."
Onstage, Perry pulled out the stops - and the costumes - with the opening number featuring Perry, Hilson and Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles in WAC uniforms for a cover of The Andrews Sisters' '40s classic "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy."
Perry closed the show with her current smash "Firework," which concluded, appropriately, with a fireworks display. For that finale, Perry wore a cherry-red beaded gown with thigh-high slit that looked as if it was borrowed from Jessica Rabbit's closet. "You know me, I love vintage," Perry explained. "I love pinup girls. So, I tried to recreate that. I think any Army guy has a soft spot for a girl that can be painted on their plane."

Katy Perry Is Forgetting She Is Married

Katy and Russell spend yesterday’s Thanksgiving with the singer’s parents in Santa Barbara, and though she had promised their celebration would be as “wild” as usual, the family were making one change a tofu turkey to please the vegetarian funnyman.

Though Katy keeps forgetting she is married to Russell, her parents Keith and Mary Hudson are thrilled to have welcomed him into their family.
Keith said recently: "I could not have wished for a better son-in-law in Russell. He makes my girl so happy. She's so happy and he makes her light up. They're going to be just fine.
