Are Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron Back Together?

Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron called it quits in December after 5 years of Disney star bliss, but it's looking more and more like that "break up" was more of a nice break. Sources say the two were acting like much more than friends while at the opening of Hollywood hotspot Eden last night.

"The two showed up around 10:45 p.m. through the back entrance with a group of friends and were holding hands at different points throughout the night," a source said (via Us magazine).

And, apparently at one point during the evening Zac leaned in for a kiss, and Vanessa only pushed him away because a bystander pulled out a camera phone. Otherwise, it sounds like the night was full of PDA from these two.

"They were kissing on the lips and seemed to be enjoying their night," says the source. Adds another eyewitness: "They seem to be back together."

Zac Efron Getting 'Chummy' with 'Lucky One' Co-Star

Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens have gone their separate ways, and insist that a third party had nothing to do with their split after 4 years -- but we hear Zac is already getting "chummy" with another gal. A source says he and his Lucky One co-star Taylor Schilling have gotten pretty friendly lately.

He's apparently been leaning on the 26-year-old since the breakup, and though things haven't turned romantic yet -- it sounds like there's some chemistry. "They joke around, eat together sometimes, run lines," said the source (via E! Online ), insisting it's all innocent friendship stuff. "Nothing out of the ordinary," the insider added.

Of course, there's speculation that the "good friends" bit easily turns into something more, but we won't get too ahead of ourselves quite yet. For now, Zac seems to be having fun with Kellan Lutz in New Orleans and has been mingling with the Twilight crew while all parties are in Louisiana.

Pals Say Zac Efron And Vanessa Hudgens Will Get Back Together

High School Musical co-stars Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens recently ended their four-year romance after growing apart but, their pals are hopeful it won’t be long until they reconcile.

One friend told Hollywoodlife.com: “They realize that they both can trust each other, and there will be a bond between them forever. Career demands, distance and wanting to enjoy being single are the main reasons for the break-up. I’d be shocked if they don’t get back together someday.”

While they may no longer be an item, Zac, 23, and 21-year-old Vanessa are still close and are spending a lot of time together.

The source added: “They have hung out with each other as recently as two weeks ago and will continue to hang out, since they are best friends.”

The break-up is said to have been amicable and the pair just realized it was time to end things.

One friend said: "They are still talking and still friends. There's no drama. No one cheated. They just grew up."

Zac recently gushed about his relationship with Vanessa but admitted he was pleased they didn't live together.

He said: "When we're filming we spend a lot of time apart, but that's what keeps it fresh you know? Also, when you're working you need to be really focused. At least I like to be focused so that time away is important. Then when you come back it's better than ever."
