Angie Harmon & Rosario Dawson To Announce SAG Awards

Angie Harmon and Rosario Dawson will announce the 17th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards nominations with SAG Awards Committee Chair JoBeth Williams, Executive producer Jeff Margolis said in a statement recently.

The event, which will reveal nominations in five film and eight television categories, will take place Thursday at the SilverScreen Theater at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood, Calif.

The nominations will be telecast live on TNT and Web-cast live on TNT.tv and TBS.com.

SAG ward winners are slated to be revealed Jan. 30, 2011, at a ceremony to be simulcast live on TNT and TBS from the Shrine Exposition Center in Los Angeles.

Screen Actors Guild is the nation's largest labor union representing working actors, according to SAG. SAG represents more than 125,000 actors who work in film and digital theatrical motion pictures and television programs, commercials, video games, industrials, Internet and all new media formats. The Guild exists to enhance actors' working conditions, compensation and benefits and to be a powerful, unified voice on behalf of artists' rights, SAG said in a statement.
