Eva Longoria Is Busy To Land Producer Roles

Eva Longoria is busying herself to keep her mind off personal troubles.  While the divorce from three year husband Tony Parker is still fresh, Longoria has landed herself a new producing role which will certainly keep her occupied.

Although friends say she is devastated by the break up of her marriage and is turning to family and friends for support, she is also focusing on her work to see her through.

She has signed up for two production deals with the ABC network, in which she will executive produce Sendera, a story about a wealthy family from Mexico who are locked in a power struggle with a Texan family.  According to Daily Variety magazine, Cold Case actress Kathryn Morris’s Hotplate Productions will produce the show in conjunction with Longoria.

Longoria is also going to produce the Starz historical series Aztecs, which depicts the tale of Spanish conqueror Hernan Cortes and his love affair with his interpreter, Malinalli.

Other reports over the weekend suggested that Eva Longoria is looking to adopt a child but according to sources close to her she is not ready to have a baby in her life at the moment, especially with her divorce case in such early stages.

“She is simply heartbroken,” one of them told People.com. “She really wishes Tony the best. She just wants this whole situation to be as peaceful as it can be under the circumstances. He’s a good person at heart, and she wants the best for him.”
